Nancy L. McCoy specializes in employment law and litigation on behalf of management.  Her
practice combines preventive counseling for clients with aggressive litigation defense.

Ms. McCoy routinely counsels employers regarding all areas of employment law, including
hiring, discipline and termination, disability accommodation, leaves of absence, wage and hour
requirements, discrimination and harassment, employment policies and practices, and risk
management.

Ms. McCoy also regularly defends employers in all types of employment litigation including
wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, disability accommodation, workplace violence,
invasion of privacy, defamation, breach of contract and wage and hour cases in both
administrative and civil court forums.

In addition to litigation and preventive counseling, Ms. McCoy effectively utilizes alternative
dispute resolution, such as mediation and arbitration, to efficiently and effectively resolve
employment disputes.

Ms. McCoy is a frequent lecturer to client and community groups on employment law issues.
Ms. McCoy was a keynote speaker in the April, 2007 C.E.B. seminar approved for professional
continuing education credit by the State Bar of California on “Employment Litigation Practice
