Following law school, Ms. Gorman clerked for Magistrate Elizabeth Laporte, United States District
Court.  Ms. Gorman has been practicing labor and employment law since completing her
clerkship.  She specializes in litigation defense, representing employers in discrimination,
harassment, wrongful termination and breach of contract actions.  She also advises employers
on wage and hour issues, family and medical leave, non-compete agreements, employment
handbook policies, employment contracts and terminations.

Ms. Gorman graduated cum laude from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law
in 2002, where she wrote for the Hastings Law Journal and was a member of the Order of the
Coif.  She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1999 from the University of Michigan.
